THE LOSS OF CHARLES CHING, QC

The Bar mourns for the loss of Charles Ching, Queen's Counsel, Permanent Judge (now non-Permanent Judge) of the Court of Final Appeal. Mr. Ching was a pillar of strength for the Hong Kong Bar. He will be missed by all the members of the legal fraternity. The Bar wishes to convey its deepest sympathy and condolences to Mrs. Ching and family. In honour of Mr. Ching, the Bar will set up a scholarship in honour of his name. Details will be released in due course.
