Competition
4 – 10 April 2005
The Bar has been invited by The William C. Vis (East) International Commercial Arbitration Moot to participate in a showcase for Hong Kong’s legal community in the captioned competition which will be held in April 2005. Since its inception in 1993, the Vis Moot has become the premiere global competition for international commercial arbitration. The 2nd Vis (East) competition promises to be substantially larger.
We have been approached to host an evening cocktail party for the Vis (East) arbitrators and therefore are inviting members to sponsor for the law students to participate at the evening cocktail which will be organized in April 2005. Those who wish to sponsor may write in to the Hon. Secretary at info@hkba.org or fax: 2869 0189.
