48TH CONGRESS BY THE
UNION INTERNATIONALE DES AVOCATS (UIA)
GENEVA, 1 - 5 SEPTEMBER 2004

Members may wish to mark their dairies for an upcoming conference to be held by Union Internationale Des Avocats (UIA) from 1 - 5 September 2004 in Geneva.

There will be three main themes discussed at this 5-day conference:
- The right to health as the first of Human Rights?
- International regulation of national legal practice: whose profession is it anyway?
- Humanitarian rights in the 21st century.

Numerous world-wide renowned speakers will attend the Congress. The deadline for registration is on 18 August 2004.
