A CONFERENCE ORGANIZED BY
THE HONG KONG INSTITUTE OF SURVEYORS

As part of its 20th Anniversary celebrations, The Hong Kong Institute of Surveyors (HKIS) has organized a conference on "Towards a New Era of Land Tenure in the New Territories" which will be held at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University, Chiang Chen Studio Theatre on Thursday, 24 June 2004 from 9 am - 5 pm.

The conference will have both overseas and local speakers and the major themes are:-

- Review the history, development and future of the NT land tenure & boundary system;
- Learn about the international experience of the land tenure and relate this to HK's present circumstance.

A TALK ORGANIZED BY THE NEW MEDICO-LEGAL SOCIETY

The New Medico-Legal Society has organized a talk to be delivered by Mr. Tim Hamlett and Mr. Greg Torode on "The Media's approach to the practice of medicine" on Tuesday, 15 June 2004 at 6:30 for 7:00 p.m. at Senior Police Officers Mess, Caine House, Police Headquarters, Arsenal Street, Wanchai, Hong Kong.
