CIVIL JUSTICE REFORM:
FINAL REPORT AND EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

Please note that Chief Justice's Working Party on Civil Justice Reform has released the Final Report of the Working Party and its Executive Summary on 3 March 2004.

For those who may wish to have a hard copy, they are kindly requested to send their office assistants to collect the copies of the report from the Bar Secretariat, LG2, High Court, 38 Queensway.

QUARTERLY ASSIGNMENT STATISTICS

The Legal Aid Department has sent us a copy of the quarterly assignment statistics of legal aid cases (for the period from January to December 2003) to the Legal Aid Practitioners' Liaison Committee. Members who are interested to view them will find the same on the Notice Board at the Bar Secretariat, LG2, High Court.

1. 17th ICCA Conference which will be held in China World Hotel, Beijing from 16 - 18 May 2004. The topic for this three-day Conference is "New Horizon in International commercial Arbitration and Beyond".
