TALK ON "ENFORCEMENT OF ARBITRAL AWARDS IN THE PRC"
The Hong Kong Institute of Arbitrators has organized the captioned talk to be held on Wednesday, 17 March 2004 from 9:00 am to 11:30 am at the Hong Kong International Arbitration Centre, 38/F, Two Exchange Square, Central. It will be held in association with the Bar Association, The Law Society, The Association of China-Appointed Attesting Offices Ltd, Hong Kong International Arbitration Centre and The Federation of Women Lawyers.
This is an opportunity to learn about the relationship and difference between enforcement under the Arrangement concerning mutual enforcement of arbitral awards between the Mainland and the Hong Kong SAR and the New York Convention, and the factors affecting enforcement of Hong Kong Arbitral awards in PRC and the procedure for such enforcement. The speaker is Mr. Guo Xiaowen, Vice Chairman of CIETAC, Shenzhen PRC.
