THE BRITISH CHEVENING SCHOLARSHIPS 2004

The British Chevening Scholarship Scheme provides high potential Hong Kong postgraduate students and young professionals an opportunity to develop their academic and management skills at major British universities and institutions.

Up to 50 Chevening Scholarships are offered for the academic year 2004. Awards will be made in the following categories:

(a) Postgraduate Scholarships for one year taught Masters courses;
(b) Scholarships for three months on Business Leadership course aimed at professionals working at middle to senior management level; and
(c) Scholarships for a specialist field of study such as Healthcare, Journalism and Manufacturing Management.

Chevening Scholarships are full cost awards covering all tuition fees, international travel costs and a substantial contribution towards living expenses. The average value of a Chevening Scholarship is £14,000.
