Update for "Seminar to open up PRC's Legal Environment"
jointly organised by the Hong Kong Bar Association, Dongguan Lawyers Association, & Zhongshan Lawyers Association
at 9:30 am on 18 October 2003

Members have been made aware of this seminar under Circular No. 079/03 of 1 September 2003. This circular is to update and remind members of the seminar to be held at 09:30am on 18 October 2003 at the Jury Assembly Room. We now have about 30 lawyers from Dongguan and Zhongshan Lawyers Association, and they would be delighted to meet members of the Bar at the seminar and at a lunch thereafter. Materials and speeches of the Dongguan and Zhongshan Lawyers Association will be distributed at the seminar. The venue for lunch has been temporarily booked in the name of the Chairman at the Chater Room, Jockey Club House at Happy Valley. Transport will be made available for the guests and members who wish to accompany. Members will be expected to pay part of the costs for the lunch.

For background and economic details of the Dongguan and Zhongshan, members are invited to refer to Circular No. 079/03 of 1 September 2003.

For those members who are still interested to come but have not made a reservation there is a limited number of vacancies, please therefore return the reply slip as soon as possible to ensure you can gain entry.
