PRACTICE DIRECTION - 3.2

Members are informed that Practice Direction 3.2 "Procedure for filing and hearing bankruptcy petitions by debtors who are legally represented" has been issued by the Chief Justice on 28 August 2003. This shall come into force on 2 October 2003.

Members who may wish to obtain a copy for their chambers may pick up one set from the Bar Secretariat, LG2, High Court or view from the website www.hkba.org under the webpage of "Practice Directions".

The Chief Justice has ordered that the rate of interest on judgment debts in the High Court and District Court shall remain at 8% per annum.
