VEHICLE DROP-OFF AT WANCHAI TOWER
The Judiciary Administrator has written to inform members that
in order to improve access by lawyers to the District Court, agreement has been
sought from the Government Property Administrator and the Building Management
Committee of the Wanchai Tower to permit private vehicles authorized by the
Building Management office on their behalf to enter the upper basement of the
Wanchai Tower for the purpose of dropping off and/or picking up lawyers.
The entry will be subject to the conditions annexed hereto. There
shall be a trial run from 1 October to 31 December 2003 whereupon the arrangement
will be reviewed.

PRACTICE DIRECTION - 19.2
Please find enclosed a copy of Practice Direction 19.2 on "Service of
Documents by Post: Ordinary Course of Post" which has been signed by the
Chief Justice on 23 August 2003 and shall come into force on 2 October 2003.
