PHOTOCOPYING AT THE HIGH COURT LIBRARY

Please be informed that with immediate effect octopus card can be used for photocopying at the High Court Library at LG4. The Hong Kong Bar Association photocopying card will remain valid until 31 December 2003. Thereafter from 2 January 2004, octopus card is the only payment method for photocopying. Receipts will be issued upon request.

INTEREST ON JUDGMENT DEBT

The Chief Justice has ordered that the rate of interest on judgment debts in the High Court and District Court shall remain at 8% per annum.

2ND SUPPLEMENT

Please be informed that the Hong Kong Tax Cases Volume 5 2nd Supplement has just been published and is now available for sale at the Government Publication Centre (GPC), Low Block, G/F, Queensway Government Offices, 66 Queensway, Hong Kong. However, please note that the GPC will be closed down from September 2003 and the existing over-the counter sales services will be replaced by electronic book-ordering services. You can purchase the publication by:

(a) calling the publication sales section at 2537 1910;
(b) visiting the online Government bookstore at http://bookstore.esdlife.com;
(c) Downloading the order form from their website at http://www.isd.gov.hk and submitting the order online or by fax to 2523 7195;
(d) Placing order with by email at puborder@isd.gov.hk.

The supplement covers 15 cases from 2001 to December 2002 totalling some 380 pages.
