Guidelines for Admission of Overseas Counsel
4. These guidelines and attached Checklist are
intended:
- to facilitate applications in appropriate
cases; and
- to remove the abuse, which has unfortunately
sometimes been apparent in highly unmeritorious applications
or applications made extremely late or with very little information
to enable their being dealt with properly;
- to discourage applications in inappropriate
cases or applications which are procedurally flawed.
